Here's the deal with tongue. Prepared correctly it is melt-in-your-mouth tender (from slow braising), flavorful (because it's a muscle that got a lot of exercise), if you chop it up enough the texture isn't an issue, and its home of homes is truly in a taco, slathered with salsa verde.

Weeknight dinners should be a simple affair. In my opinion, whether you've been at work all day, had a day off, or have been running around after your kids, the last thing you want is to make something complicated for dinner.
Enter - the simple pesto pasta.

I have printed the recipe. All the times I have fried chicken I have used an egg and milk mixture.Totally lacking in this recipe.  I am going to use a mix of egg and milk 2 eggs and a wee bit of milk to cover the chicken before breading in a altered mixture of flour 3 cups, and 1/4 cup cornmeal. Am using chicken breasts, split. Used garlic salt and ground pepper.

The bell peppers and spices add color, crunch, and bright flavor to this elegant beef entrée, making each bite irresistibly delicious.

This is a one of my favorite ways to enjoy potatoes - potato pancakes or "rosti" have a crispy crunchy outer crust and soft, steamy interior.

This recipe for grilled chicken, marinated in lime juice, and served with a cilantro infused black bean sauce comes. So much for the outdoor grill. Plan B - the cast-iron grill pan - worked just fine. We used 2 pounds of chicken breasts, instead of the 1 1/2 the recipe calls for, and cooked it for 30 minutes versus 20 in the recipe. The breasts were perfectly done. The black bean sauce is a must for the chicken. I think I may add a little sour cream to it next time.

Love this pic, are you loving it? Listen, I don’t eat meat – and I want to pick this little hunk up and BITE it! It looks juicy, thick, healthful, colorful, bright, and simple.

The sauce for this recipe is delicious! I added a little more red pepper flakes and used frozen meatballs.
I served these meatballs - what a success!!! Everyone loved them. Easy to make. I made them as per the recipe.

We start with a dry rub of brown sugar, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, salt and pepper. Then you coat the wings! If you have leftover dry rub (that’s been untouched by the raw chicken), keep it in a little jar to use another time.

BBQ Central Smoky Sweet Wings

The eggplant is dreamy, delicate and sweet. One bite and the velvety flesh just melts into your mouth. Since they haven’t matured, they do not have any of the bitterness that the adult variety contains. No need to salt to extract the bitter compounds. These babies were just the perfect size for a finger food. Their indigo skins looked so perfect on a white platter!
